750 Free Spirit miles with Swagbucks

Spirit Airlines are offering 250 free Free Spirit miles when you join Swagbucks, and 500 more free miles when you earn your first 450 Swagbucks.

Swagbucks is a virtual currency that can be exchanged for rewards. You can earn Swagbucks by shopping online, searching the web, completing surveys, watching videos and more. You can then exchange your Swagbucks for gift vouchers. For example, in the UK Swagbucks can be exchanged for Amazon, Paypal, M&S and Starbucks vouchers.

Swagbucks’ main user base is in the USA, but it has recently expanded its operations to the UK. I will give more insight into how to use Swagbucks to earn free points/miles/money in the near future.

In the meantime, you can sign up for a free account with Swagbucks here. To receive your 250 free miles you need to be a member of Free Spirit (if you are not already a member you can sign up here) and fill in your member/account number during the registration process.

8,000 absolutely free air miles with Spirit Airlines

You can get 8,000 completely free air miles with Spirit Airlines just for criticising them (or criticising another airline). To take part in the promotion you need to be a member of the Spirit Airlines frequent flier scheme Free Spirit. You can join here. Then all you need to do is criticise Spirit or another airline. It takes about 5 minutes to earn your miles!

The miles will post to your account within 30-45 days. Spirit Airlines award flight redemptions start at 10,000 miles. I chose to redeem my miles on magazine subscriptions (delivery to the US only). I am based in London, but gave free subscriptions to Glamour, Sports Illustrated, Vogue and Time to a friend in the US. Other options include the Wall Street Journal and the Economist. Easy!
