100 free air miles with each hotel review at Holiday Check

TripAdvisor have always had a pretty captive market when it comes to hotel, holiday and restaurant reviews. Now a rival has emerged – Holiday Check. Holiday Check is not as good as TripAdvisor – there are fewer reviews and the website is not as user-friendly. However, it does give you free air miles for writing reviews!

Holiday Check is in partnership with Lufthansa Miles and More, airberlin topbonus and Etihad Guest. You can earn 100 miles with the partner of your choice when you review a hotel, up to a maximum of 1,000 miles each month. Each review probably takes 5-10 minutes, depending on how much effort you put in. About the last thing you do in your review is choose your loyalty programme and submit your frequent flyer number, so don’t worry if there is no mention of the 100 miles to begin with!

This is a handy way of earning a few extra miles – particularly if you are just a few miles short of being able to afford a particular reward flight. I was a regular reviewer on TripAdvisor, but now tend to use Holiday Check instead. My reviews have earned me 1,400 miles so far….
